Our Story

Receiving the baton

The illumiNations movement started in the United States to make God's Word accessible to all people by 2033. Asia has now received the baton.

illumiNations Asia was started to reach the remaining language groups in Asia who do not have the Bible. We believe God is calling Asian Christians to take ownership for this remaining task. God has blessed us richly so that these resources may be used for His kingdom agenda.

T H E PLAN

By 2033, every tongue, tribe and nation will have access to the Gospel and its life-changing hope.

All Access Goals

95% of the world's population will have a full Bible
99.96% of the world will have at least a New Testament
100% of the world will have some portion of Scripture

The task is great:
Over 1200 people groups in Asia suffer in Bible poverty with little or no Scripture in their language

The need is urgent:
Romans 10:14 asks, "But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him?" (NLT)

The vision is God-sized:
By 2033, 95 percent of the people in the world will have access to a full Bible; 99.9 percent will have access to the full New Testament; and 100 percent will have access to at least some portion of Scripture.

And the challenge is ours:
We have the opportunity to be stunningly generous. We have the opportunity to be the generation that sees Scripture available in every living language.
